Centra Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Franklin, Indiana.

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) that is licensed or in the immediate process, and qualifies, of obtaining Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of IN to work in the specialty area of Med/Surg.

• This is a contract, 3x12 Nights position. (6pm-6:30am)
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Minimum Requirements include:

• 2 years of recent experience as a(n) Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med/Surg/PCU/Tele or CCU Experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of practice.
• BLS Certification

•\tNO BLOCKED SCHEDULING REQUESTS\n•\t# of beds: 34\n•\tRatios: Days 1:5 Nights 1:6\n•\tRequired certifications: BLS\n•\tCommon diagnoses/Types of patients: PNA, COPD, CHF, ortho (shoulders, hips, knees), appy, chole, diverticulitis, bowel resection, pancreatitis.\n•\tAre RNs required to titrate drips?: No\n•\tCommon titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin per protocol\n•\tCharge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge available on both shifts. Supervisor available on nights.\n•\tAre there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: Day and night shift PCTs with 1:12 max ratio.\n•\tRT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Chronic Bipap and cpap.\n•\tIs there tele on this unit? Remote monitoring tele.\n•\tMonitor Techs? Monitor tech on CCU to provide analysis.\n•\tRNs read strips?: MS nurses are not responsible for interpretation.\n•\tShifts & Scheduling: 6a-6:30p; 6p-6:30a: self-scheduling as appropriate (variable upon census/staffing availability)\n•\tWeekend Requirement: Weekend rotation (variable based on staffing): currently requires 4 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.\n•\tHoliday Requirement: Rotation based on calendar\n•\tIs there a call or standby requirement?: If cancelled, may be placed on call (with 45 minute return after notification (per policy)\n•\tFloating Requirements: Within MS scope of practice\n•\tScrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue\n•\tUnit/Department specific orientation: 1 shift of clinical nursing education then 2 shifts on the unit with a preceptor
