Job Description

Our client, a global leader in cruise and tourism experiences, known for providing unparalleled shore excursions, tours, and activities worldwide, tailored for cruise and hotel travelers, is seeking a relationship-driven Sales Manager. This individual will oversee and grow our internal network of travel agent partners, with a strong focus on deepening engagement and increasing sales through trusted, strategic relationships.

  • Strategic Relationship Management : Manage and grow relationships with a large portfolio of travel agents, concierge partners, and agency networks. Develop trust and loyalty through regular virtual meetings, education, and sales support.
  • Partner Activation & Revenue Growth: Develop tailored engagement strategies to activate new and dormant agent accounts using data insights. Drive agent-led sales to meet revenue goals through a consultative, partnership-first approach.
  • Lead Internal Sales Development Reps (SDRs) : Oversee a team of SDRs who handle inbound inquiries and early-stage outreach. Coach and mentor team members to support pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Account Planning & Upselling: Proactively identify growth opportunities within the partner network. Recommend relevant cruise excursions, promotions, and packages aligned with agent and client needs.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Utilize HubSpot and other sales tools to manage pipeline, generate reports, and analyze sales metrics. Maintain accurate records of all agent communications and progress.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Serve as the voice of the partner network across internal marketing, operations, and leadership teams. Share partner insights and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Establish a new group business to meet and exceed company targets

This role needs to be able to work 9 AM-5 PM EST on weekdays to collaborate with the team. This is a remote position with a focus on the East Coast and Midwest.

The ideal states this individual would be in are MD, WI, FL, RI, or TX, but we will consider other states for the right individual.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the travel, cruise, or tourism industry, ideally in a sales or business development capacity.
  • Deep understanding of the travel agent ecosystem, including retail agents, host agencies, and independent contractors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing large partner portfolios (10k+) using a relationship-first sales strategy.
  • Familiarity with cruise line operations, shore excursion offerings, and group sales processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High proficiency in CRM systems, particularly HubSpot Sales Enterprise.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to work independently and lead internal teams.
  • Experience coaching or managing SDRs or account executives is a plus
