About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group. EFT provides technology solutions for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Legal, Public Affairs, and Stakeholder Relations, along with innovative solutions for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Data Management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern data lake technologies, capable of scaling across multiple scrum teams, and effective in communicating with senior leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with Product Managers/Product Owners to enhance user satisfaction, influence requirements, promote innovative solutions, and advocate for agile and DevOps practices.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and document projects and programs.
• Analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for strategic and tactical business objectives, considering enterprise environment and technical challenges.
• Develop standards and best practices for engineering large-scale technology solutions.
• Make decisions on engineering standards, influence technology teams, and lead new initiatives.
• Ensure solutions adhere to the Banking Platform Architecture and meet non-functional requirements.
• Mentor agile development teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Core Java experience.
• 5+ years of Spring framework experience.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, and React or Angular.
• 4+ years of JSON development experience.
• 4+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services experience.
• 2+ years leading high-performing agile teams.
• 2+ years of Microservices experience.
• 3+ years with SDLC tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven, or Gradle.

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years of JSON development experience.
• Knowledge of test-driven development.
• 4+ years of AI and ML concepts, including deep learning and NLP.
• 4+ years of Python and Apache Spark experience.
• 4+ years of Agile experience.
• Experience designing and implementing large-scale software applications.
• 2+ years in stream processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
• 3+ years in UI/UX development with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience creating user personas, journey maps, and wireframes.

Job Expectations:

• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work on-site at the approved location.

Pay Range:

$111,100.00 - $237,100.00, reflecting base pay. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
