CGI has an immediate need for a Jr. Python Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. - This position is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Program language(s), application server, compute, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed
- Use knowledge of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of FNM's internal customers
- Use one or more of the following languages/services: Python, SQL, Glue ETL, ECS, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, DMS, SQS/SNS, PostGres RDS, S3, Oracle and Java.
- Test Automation tools and best practices
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role - ł + years of related experience required.
- Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using agile methodologies
- Solid knowledge of the programming language(s), application server, compute, database server and/or architecture of the system being developed
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud development and associated service
- Solid understanding of current programming languages and employs any/all of these languages to solve the business needs of FNM's internal customers
- Knowledge of one or more of the following languages/services: Python, SQL, Glue ETL, ECS, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, DMS, SQS/SNS, PostGres RDS, S3, Oracle and Java.
- Knowledge of Test Automation tools and best practices
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field2. Professional certification(s) desired3. 1-2 years of related experience in their specific area and4. Financial services experience a plus.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $66,300.00 - $146,900.00.
