Abercrombie is seeking an Internal Auditor to support a broad audit portfolio of assurance and consulting activities focused on operational, financial, and compliance risk. As an Internal Auditor you are a problem solver who fosters cross-functional relationships to build consensus and drive positive change. The Internal Auditor should possess strong analytical, communication, data visualization, and project management skills. We are looking for a naturally curious self-starter with strong critical thinking skills who successfully demonstrates flexibility and agility in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing? 

  • Develop a deep understanding of Abercrombie’s environment, including business processes and IT controls
  • Support SOX efforts, including walkthroughs, testing, and deficiency evaluation; effective collaboration with Internal Audit team, External Audit, and Controller's organization
  • Execute project work within the Operational audit portfolio including evaluating design and/or operational effectiveness of processes and controls
  • Build relationships with key business stakeholders to support the execution of audit observations through remediation plans, including post-audit support and validation efforts
  • Support management inquiries, investigations, and ad-hoc projects, as needed

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related experience
  • 2+ years of experience, preferably with operational audit and SOX in retail and/or manufacturing
  • Strong planning, project management, and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, embrace change, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with data analysis; advanced use of excel and/or proficiency in PowerBI is a plus
  • Professional certification (CIA or CPA preferred)
